What services do you offer? I provide individual counseling, couples counseling, workshops, and speaking engagements as part of my holistic mental health approach. As an author, I draw from both clinical and personal experience. My work focuses on supporting individuals and relationships navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, emotional overwhelm, communication challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. I also offer psychoeducational workshops for organizations, schools, and community spaces, emphasizing mental health counseling services tailored to diverse needs.
Who do you work with? I work with adults, adolescents (12+), couples, and families, providing personalized care that is affirming and culturally responsive. I intentionally serve Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and diverse relationship structures, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds.
What is your approach to therapy? My approach is person-centered, integrative, and rooted in authenticity. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, lived experiences, and goals. I integrate evidence-informed practices with practical tools you can use in everyday life—always honoring your pace and autonomy.
How long are sessions? Individual and couples sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes. Intensive therapy options are available extended sessions of up to six hours. Please inquire for availability and details.
Do you offer couples intensives? Yes. Couples intensives are designed for deeper, focused work and may be scheduled for extended sessions of up to six hours. Intensives are ideal for couples seeking concentrated support, clarity, and momentum in their relationship.
Do you accept insurance? Yes, most major insurances are accepted. Carillon Behavioral Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Oscar (Optum), United Healthcare (Optum), Oxford (Optum), Ascension (SmartHealth), Anthem EAP, Quest Behavioral Health, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, Cigna, and Aetna.
Is therapy confidential? Yes. Therapy is confidential and follows all ethical and legal standards required for Licensed Professional Counselors. There are limited exceptions to confidentiality, such as concerns about safety, which will be discussed during the informed consent process.
What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me? That’s completely okay. Many people feel unsure before starting therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out—curiosity and openness are enough. Therapy is a space to explore, reflect, and decide what feels supportive for you.
Do you offer workshops or speaking engagements? Yes. I offer mental health workshops and speaking engagements focused on emotional wellness, stress management, anxiety, relationships, and culturally responsive mental health topics. Workshops can be customized for schools, organizations, faith-based groups, and community events.
